Happy Birthday Miss Abbie!
I can not believe you are 4! Four, FOUR! Really, I don't know where the time went. It feels like yesterday that you were my little stinky-rita. Now you're my big girl, a miniature grown up, and I'm pretty sure I've met my match with you! I'm thinking you may have gotten a little bit of sass from me, but that's good. We're going to need it in a house full of BOYS!
Just like I did for Will on his birthday, here are just a few things I love about you:
How smart you are, you soak in EVERYTHING!
What a little mom you are with Will, and now you have "Diego" to mother too!
Those long, dark eyelashes and the way they look on your cheeks while you sleep.
What a fun big sister you are. Always including Will while you play, and just so you know..he adores you!
The tiny little mole on your hand.
The very special bond you have with your dad. You'll always be his "Pretty."
Those big, blue eyes, and how they only get bigger with excitement and wonder.
Bed time reading. I love that you and I share a joy for reading. I think I could read to you forever.
Seeing you in your dress up clothes. I never knew a girl could change THAT many times!
Your independence. Seriously, there isn't much you can't do!
Watching you drive your jeep around the drive and through the yard. I can't believe one day you'll be 16 and driving for real!
The way you talk to Will, and call him Buddy in your tiny, sweet voice.
Listening to you sing, or listening to you "teach" your class.
Your love for shoes...already! Here's to many years of fun shopping trips!
I don't know what we would do without you. You certainly keep us on our toes. I'm sad that you aren't my baby anymore, but am happy to have such a fabulous "big girl." I'm looking forward to watching you grow, and continuing to watch you take this world by the hand. Happy Birthday Abbie Katherine, Sis, Pretty, and forever my Stinky-rita! We love you so much!!
