Curly Sue?

Not quite, but close.
Abbie always wants curls, but her hair is still so fine that it is almost impossible to do without an entire can of hairspray.
Instead, we decided to braid her hair overnight for a little "wave."
She seriously thought she was HOT STUFF!


I may be a bit bias, but I think she's pretty darn cute!

Presenting 2010 Little Master of Bunker Hill!
I'm not sure he really got the point of it, but he raised the trophy high and swung his scepter all over the place!
The little girl in the hot pink is the Little Miss. I never could corral the two of them together for a decent picture.

As a side note, I don't know how I failed to notice that his shirt wasn't tucked in the entire time...oops!
Abbie got a trophy too for participating. They each also got treat bags.

The Pageant

She was shy, but did well.
She did not have a talent or trick to share.

Will was not so shy.
He spoke clearly and loudly.
He talked about riding his bike, playing John Deere, and playing with Spiderman.
He jumped for the crowd as his "trick."

It's a Girl Thing...

September, 11th 2010 was the Little Miss and Little Master Pageant.
Abbie got to do the thing she likes the best...pampering.
A little make-up, nails, and hair.


Memaw came and did her "mani and pedi."
She had pink nails with white flower nail stickers.

Getting her hair done.
She requested curls.

And, Curls she got!

Almost done, and still admiring those fingernails!

1st Day of Preschool

September 2, 2010 was the 1st day of Preschool for Will.

In true Will fashion, he LOVES school and he went without a hitch.

Whitney forgot her camera so I tried to get a picture of Ethan.

He wasn't having it.

Nor did it get any better for Ethan.

Up until this past week, Will had to ride to school with Ethan in order to even get Ethan to go to school without too much trouble.

But on that first day, not even a little harassing from Will could get him to smile for the camera!

This year both Abbie & Will participated in Bunker Hill's Little Miss and Little Master pageant.
A few weeks before, each participant had their pictures taken at Through A Lens studio as a complimentary photo.
