Easy, Breezy....

Beautiful!
Cover Girl!
Okay so it's not Cover Girl Make Up, but you get the drift.
Abbie & I had a make up session.
Here are a few from our photo shoot.
The girls eyelashes are RIDICULOUS! In fact she didn't like the way the mascara made her eyelashes feel. I think it weighed them down too much. They are already long and thick, but it was outrageous with mascara. If you click on the picture it will enlarge. Seriously.....those eyes!

Speaking of the Governor

Andy & I attended Congressman Phil Hare's Unity Dinner back in August.
Though Andy's position as Chief of Staff for the Senate Democrats allows him to meet with Quinn on a regular basis,
this was my first time meeting him.
Seemed like a good time for a photo op. I also got my picture taken with our State Treasurer. I might have a little crush! No worries though, I think Andy is a keeper!

The Governor comes to Bunker Hill

Earlier in the month, Governor Quinn visited Bunker Hill.
Bunker Hill has recently had a cell phone tower built.
Andy worked hard to obtain adequate cell phone coverage during his time as Bunker Hill mayor, as well as in his present position as Macoupin County Board Chairman.
Andy works tirelessly for his community.
I'm so proud! In the top picture from left to right: Rep. Betsy Hanning, Andy, Senator Deanna Demuzio, Governor Quinn, BH Mayor Chapman, and BH Chamber President Johnessee. Andy's dad was there. He got the opportunity to meet our Governor. I just wish I could have gotten a better picture. I had Abbie asleep in my arms, Ben and Will in front of me in the double stroller, and I was nursing a bee sting on my finger. Only the second time I have been stung....grr!

The crew

Are they really mine?
Yep.
All mine.
And just in case you are wondering about the combination of outfits....
Andy dressed Will, and Abbie dressed herself.

And what did Ben do?

Poor Ben was absent during all the goat and pumpkin patch pictures.
So what was Ben doing?
He was inside eating with Mommy.
I've been making his baby food, which I love, love, love to do.
I really wish I would have done it for Abbie & Will.
So easy and somehow therapeutic for me.
Here he is enjoying some carrots.

More farm fun

Abbie & Will love the goats at Nono & Nona's.
They love to play with them and feed them.

In Nono's Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Carving with Abbie

Her finished pumpkin. Her favorite part was the little carving knife. The girl loves cutting things up.
Notice all the pen marks on it.
Her second favorite part was drawing on the pumpkin.

Pumpkin Carving with Will

This year we carved pumpkins that Nono grew.
This is Will's carving session at Nono & Nona's.
His favorite part was the little knife.
Not sure why we have no completed pumpkin picture.

Slumber Party

Abbie & I had some girl fun. We call this time Slumber Party. She had a nice bubble bath and then we put her hair in rollers. She really thought she was hot stuff! There are no finished product pictures because the rollers fell out through the night. Her hair is so baby fine. Next time I'm going to have to put a lot of product in it. She had like two curls the next morning, but she really thought it was great!

And speaking of slumbering...
Don't you just want to cuddle this little man?
Ben had a little cuddle time with a tired daddy.

Pumpkin--Take 2!

I think I may have smiled once or twice. Then I was MAD.....and COLD! Have you ever been stripped down to your diaper and shoved inside a pumpkin? It's cold I tell you....just cold!

Our Little Pumpkin

Nono grew some pumpkins this year in his garden.
He grew a really big one.
He thought it would be fun to put me in it.
I wasn't quite so sure what to make of it!

And these...

I also have these crazy things that mommy calls my hands.
I put them in my mouth.
Sometimes I chew on them to make my teeth feel better.
Sometimes I stick my whole hand in my mouth and puke.
Mommy is not a fan of that.
She thinks it's gross.
I think it's cool! And strangely funny! And sometimes I just hold them in front of my face and stare. And when I'm feeling really crazy I'll fold and unfold them. It's a great time! And then there's those feet. I can't get enough of them, and mom can't seem to get enough pictures of them!

Guess What I Have?

I have feet!
I think they're great!
They almost go in my mouth.
Right now they seem to be my favorite toy!
And who knew?
They're mine!

More of the gang

The whole gang

My mom's coworker made shirts for Abbie, Will, and Ben.
Big Sister Abbie, Big Brother Will, and Baby Ben. A cute idea!
I finally managed to get them all dressed for a photo shoot.
As you can see it wasn't a total success.
Abbie thought it was pretty cool that the shirts had their names on them.
And I think Ben's face in the last picture says it all!
