Today as we left my parents house, Abbie asked me what we were going to do the for the rest of the day. I told her we were going to go get lunch and then go home. She asked if we could go eat at Red Lobster. I'm not sure why Red Lobster, other than maybe to see the poor tank of lobsters. Anyway, I told her not today, that I was too tired and just didn't feel good.
Her response: Mommy, if you keep getting bigger you aren't going to fit in the car. Then what are you going to do?"
Uh, yeah, thanks! And that's when you know you are officially large. Soon-to-be 4 year olds don't lie, in fact, they are full of the hurtful truth.
And just for the record, the truth didn't send me into a food strike. I stopped and had a cheeseburger, french fries, and a big Pepsi. Then I ate the rest of Abbie & Will's fries. Cheers!
