Birthday Boy!

Friday, March 13th was Will's Birthday! My baby boy is 2 now...and it seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home.
We had a family party for him on Saturday. He has developed a love for Scooby Doo, so that was his "theme." For some reason we have zero pictures of his Scooby Doo birthday table. He had Scooby Doo plates, napkins, balloons, etc. I made cupcakes with my own version of Scooby Doo cupcake picks, and I also made dog and dog bone sugar cookies. Will sang Happy Birthday with us, and asked us to do it again. So twice we sang and blew out candles, once for each year I suppose!
Will could have cared less about opening gifts. He took his time pulling out and crumpling each piece of tissue paper. Andy's cousin, Jeb, gave him a couple of dollars. He was obsessed with playing with the money. His last present was waiting for him outside...A brand new Harley! An obvious upgrade from his recent ride. Previously he had been riding Abbie's old motorcycle, a pink Indian as you see in the above picture. He was really excited, and I'm pretty sure his Papaw was just as excited! He calls it his C-Cycle, and if it's warm outside you can bet he is riding! The first few nights we even had to cover it up in the garage. Apparently Papaw has a cover for his Harley. Nono & Nona bought him a helmet. He loves to wear it. Sometimes he just wears it around the house. I guess he's good to go if the helmet law passes in Illinois!
Happy Birthday Booter Man!
I love so much about you....
Your soft, chubby cheeks, The way you say your name...Wheel, Your squishy little hands, How you play princesses with Abbie and call yourself Prince Charmin', Your naked little body, The way you say Lub you Mommy, How you play Ocean in the space between the couch and ottoman, Your furry little shoulders, How you usually repeat your sentences twice, The mole on your belly, The way you smile and wrinkle your nose and squint your eyes, The way your rub my back when we lay in bed together, How excited you get when daddy comes home, Your giggles and laughs, Your fat feet, Watching you play with Abbie and how much you adore her, The way your hair feels after being cut, Listening to you sing Scooby Doo or the ABC's, The way you smell after a bath, How you ask me to sing Cuddly Man...my special song just for you, Listening to you count, I could go on forever and ever! I hope you are always a mommy's boy!! Here's to you Little Man!!!
