Sooo....

I'm back from my blogging break!
Time to bring you all up to speed.
We'll start by wrapping up the vacation we took back in August.

This year we took guests with us on vacation, Memaw & Papaw.
We also took Mimi and Mya, but I don't have any pictures of them.
Mya was a bit crabby the duration of the vacation.

Abbie met Amanda on our first day of vacation.
The home she was staying in was directly on the beach, where as ours was a few streets back, so we set up with her family.
Amanda is five as well, and she and Abbie had a great time playing.
The adults enjoyed visiting with Amanda's family. She was there with her parents, grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
They were a large group and were a good time.
They are all from Brazil originally, but recently had moved to Atlanta. Many of them spoke primarily Portuguese, but a few of the younger family members helped interpret. Amanda was bilingual, which was interesting to introduce Abbie to new languages.

It worked out perfectly to have so many adults around.
We all took turns watching the girls in the water.
