What did Ben do on his actual birthday?



After the Smiley, Talkative Man got out of bed...
We went on a field trip to a Dairy Farm with Abbie's Pre-K class.
I was a terrible mommy and forgot the camera.
The field trip ended with a visit to the Dairy Barn ice cream shop where Ben got free ice cream for his birthday!
He gobbled it down and cried when it was gone.
Ben got LOTS of attention on his big day.
He had on a cute little top that said Birthday Boy.
It got him lots of birthday wishes.
Miss Mary Jo even sang to him.
And look what our great friend Whitney did....

She made a shirt for herself to wear!
It said "Happy 1st Birthday Benny!"
And "I love Ben!"
I can't quite remember how she ended up making the shirt. I think we joked about it, and then she really did it.
Even though Ben didn't want to cooperate for the picture, he loved the extra attention from Whitney!

After the field trip, Ben got his first big boy haircut!
He did great!
