A Few Things....

Before they escape my memory, here are a few cute things recently heard in the Manar home.

Will has a tiny mole on his belly. I love to tease him that it's dirt or chocolate, constantly trying to wipe it off. He thinks it's so funny! Our recent conversation:
M: "Oh, Will! What's on your belly? How did that chocolate get there?"
W: Giggles...."Mommy, that's not chocolate. It's a mole."
M: "How did it get there?"
W: Very matter-of-factly. "It came from the mult."
M: "Mult? What's Mult?"
W: "The stuff outside that daddy uses."
All laughs for me....he was referring to the mulch. Who knew that mulch causes moles?!?

Abbie was watching me put on make-up. While I put on my under eye concealer, we had this conversation:
A: "Mommy, why do you have to put that stuff on?"
M: "Because I'm old and it makes me look prettier."
A: "But you're not old. You don't even have bumpy hands yet. Meme (my grandma) has bumpy hands. But you don't. You're not old Mommy."

On to Abbie's name game....
You may remember she used to go by the name Sophie. Sophie, no longer.
Now she's Jessica. Or Cinderella. Cinderella I can explain. Jessica? She knows no Jessica's.
