Here Comes Santa Claus....

Saturday was our annual trip to see Santa at the Municipal Building here in BH.
This year Abbie was more excited to see him. She sat on his lap without hesitation.
We told her Friday night where we were going in the morning. Saturday morning she wanted to know how long it would take us to get to the North Pole. I had to remind her Santa was visiting in BH. Then she asked if we could see his reindeer. Funny, these are the two things she was concerned with last year too! Will was still apprehensive as you can see by the picture. I had to hold him on Santa's lap. Abbie told Santa what she wanted: Princess Tiana barbie, a pet pop pillow (as she calls it...it's really a Pillow Pet), and a doll. Will didn't mutter one word. He clung to me. And Ben, well, he was fine. He just looked at Santa with big eyes, taking it all in. No tears though!
After we visited Santa the kids had doughnuts and opened their gifts from him. They each got a coloring book, crayons, and a bear. It's a nice little program that the Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce sponsor. It sure beats the crowd and lines at the malls to see Santa!
