Let's see this year we had Abbie the Cheerleader.
Originally she wanted to be Daphne from Scooby Doo.
Bought the costume, she wore it around the house, then decided the week before Halloween that she wanted to be a cheerleader.
While I was putting her hair in pigtails, she told me Courtney (our cousin and a high school cheerleader) didn't wear pigtails.
Abbie went to a football game in September with Papaw, Nancy, and Carl to watch Courtney cheer.
I think Courtney was the inspiration behind the sudden costume change.
And then there was Scooby Doo. Will is really into Scooby Doo. Papaw got him hooked on the show. Thank goodness for Boomerang network....or channel sixty sixty seven as Abbie says. Though it's really channel sixty seven.

Hehehe, the boys are going to have to get used to waiting for the girls to get ready. They've got a lifetime of it ahead of them :)
