Even More Quinn...

I thought it would be appropriate to share this entry since our blog has recently been on a bit of a Quinn roll, if you will.
Saturday night Andy & I attended a Democrat dinner where Quinn was the guest speaker.
First, let me say how proud I am of Andy.
Quinn mentioned Andy during his speech, not once but twice, thanking him for his hard work in the Senate.
It was an honor to see Andy's work ethic and dedication to his job commended by the governor.
Now for the story behind the below pictures.
After the dinner Quinn mingled with the guests.
He recognized me as Andy's wife, told me what a great guy Andy was (as if I didn't already know this), and then asked how the baby was. Remember Ben was hospitalized in the heart of session this spring, so each occasion I have seen him he inquires about Ben.
So keeping with the light natured conversation, I decided to tell him he was recently featured on our family blog.
He seemed a bit surprised at first and gave me a questioned look.
Then I explained it was from Hare's event as well as his Bunker Hill visit.
I'm sure he was honored don't you think?
So the funny thing is, besides the fact that I shared this very random tidbit with him, is that yesterday I was emailed these pictures that were taken by an acquaintance. I had no idea they were being taken. Not at all flattering pictures, but they perfectly captured our unique conversation!
