The 4th of July

So the 4th of July was a bit of a downer this year.
We missed the Greene Co. parade.
Mom had her 30 (I mean 10, ha) year class reunion that night, so it didn't seem worth the drive or hassle to watch the parade by ourselves.
This also meant no 4th annual Jones fireworks.
On the 4th, we woke up to rain.
The BH parade was postponed and moved to Sunday, as were the fireworks.

Andy always walks in the parade as an elected official. Abbie usually joins.
This year he decided to let Abbie drive her Jeep. They "tricked" out her ride with flags.
Will even rode along, though I have no good pictures of him.
They made it the entire route.
I hear they got a lot of attention.
Maybe the Macoupin Democrats should use them in every parade!
And as far as the fireworks....Ben wasn't a fan. He & I ended up watching from the van.
