Dress Up

Ben accessorized Memaw.

Call it cruel, but we tortured Mya with this get up.

And poor, poor Benny got in touch with his feminine side.
We made him model Mya's clothes.

Sorry, buddy!

Cousin Time!

Cheese, Miss Mya!

I have a feeling these two are going to be good friends.

Smooch!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

The table was set for Valentine's Day.
The kids loved that we turned off the lights and ate by candlelight.

They all love pasta, so spaghetti it was!

Ben enjoyed his meal!

Well, until he realized just how messy he was.

After dinner, we opened gifts.
Abbie and Will got new movies, Ben got bath crayons, and I got these pretty daisies!

Pause, Pause, Pause...

Pause button!!!
Abbie got her hair cut in a short little bob.
It made her look so grown up!
And it made her extra sassy!
Pause, please time, pause!

Super Bowl Sunday!

Super Bowl, Really??

Who cares?!

It was my birthday!!

My morning started off with breakfast in bed.

I love this picture of Abbie.

She probably couldn't believe Andy was letting her crack the eggs.

I'm not so nice about that.

Abbie & Will before they surprised me!

I got to sleep in too!

Happy Birthday to ME!

Loved my breakfast in bed!

I had chocolate chip pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and toast.

I ate all of it!

Will helped too!

I spent the rest of the day shopping with Andy.

Yep, such a trooper.

We shopped all day.

I found a lamp, pillows, and art.

We had lunch and dinner out.

It was a perfect day!

And then I came home to this...

The babysitter and the kids made me brownies with M & M's.

They even tried to flatter me by putting "21 again."

Yeah right!

And I got a surprise flower delivery from my parents.

Yep, I'm blessed!

Noodling Around!

Using a spaghetti noodle, "string" 6 penne noodles.
Molly just about peed her pants!
Or did she??

Adam was a good sport.
Always a smile on his face!

This is serious business people!

Until Molly gets behind you!

We played one more game, Iron Man.
Balancing an ironing board, you had to move a marble from one end to the middle and land it in the hole.
Thanks to my friends for celebrating with me!
A Happy Birthday in deed!

Defying Gravity

Oh, Defying Gravity....
There is no nice way to put this....I SUCKED!!
In fact, I almost wish I could share with you evidence of how badly I did.
We're talking mere seconds was all I lasted.
Some of us did better than others...

Lacey managed to keep the balloons in the air for awhile.

Andy didn't do too bad.

Neither did Adam.

The definite winner was Nick.
He kept the 3 balloons in the air, without leaving the designated area, for more than a minute.
In fact, Nick excelled at most of the challenges.
Perhaps he needs to audition for the show!

The Kiddos

Alex cheered us on!

Then he decided to "get dicey!"

He got 2 stacked!

Will gave it a go too!

Level 3...

So, maybe there weren't really levels like the show.
We all participated in each "event."
It was too funny not to.
Here you have, A Bit Dicey.

Another stacking challenge.
This time the goal, in a minute or less, was to balance 6 dice on a popsicle stick for 3 seconds.
Lacey got it done!

Andy had some help from Will.

Nick was in full concentration mode.

Molly did it, and looked prim and proper doing it!

Chocolate Unicorn

Next up...

Chocolate Unicorn!

The challenge?

Snack 7 snack cakes on your forehead using one hand.

Or watch them topple!

Ta-da!
I couldn't wait to do this one.
I had the skills!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Welcome to February!
We celebrated my birthday with good friends.
Nick, Lacey, Adam, Molly, and Alex came to celebrate with us.
We had yummy pizza from Papa Jodanni's.

Lacey made me this yummy (and pretty) cake!
And then....

We played Minute to Win It!!
Our first game was Hanky Panky.
Each of us had to empty a box of Kleenex in a minute or less.
We all succeeded.
And the kids had a blast playing in the mess!

It was everywhere!
Started in the living room and ended in the kitchen.
In case you wondered, this is what 600 + Kleenex's look like!
