April 4-April 10

Another week down.
On Saturday, I had to venture out to get groceries.
I had been doing all our shopping in town but desperately needed some produce so I headed to Aldi.
The CDC has announced it is recommended to wear a mask in public.
I fashioned my mask out of a linen table napkin and elastic ponytail holders for the bands.

There was a line to get in as only so many shoppers were allowed in the store at once.
I waited maybe 10 minutes.
The mask was ZERO fun.
My glasses continually fogged and the bands pulled my ears down, which then made my glasses slide down my nose.  UGH.
But I got what we needed and picked things up for Andy's parents.

Saturday night, a friend challenged us to color the "All In Illinois" sheets.
Everyone got to work besides Will, who is lame.

Finished products.
Top is Ben and Abbie
Bottom is Andy and me.

Found some Sunday selfies from Abbie.

Abbie became bored enough to come out of her room and work on puzzles.
She and Andy did this one.

Will worked on an Easter door hanger and took it over to Bill and Paula's.

Andy saw momma duck again and she is at the neighbors.
I went over to take a peek.
She's in this bush.

Here are her eggs.
I'm so mad she isn't with us this year.

Ben lost a tooth that had been hanging on.
The tooth fairy brought him a dollar and an egg coloring kit.

I ventured out to mail some bills and found this sticker across Andy's office window.
"How do you spell stupid?
D-E-M-O-C-R-A-T"
Nice.

Tulips bloomed.

We had 2 really nice 80 degree days!
I power washed the front of the house and then cleaned the entire porch; pillars and soffit/fascia.
This picture doesn't even do justice with how dirty it was.
I worked on it ALL afternoon.

Afterward, I sat on the porch waiting for a storm to roll in.
Momma duck is there.  Look close.

Taught Will how to make his own grilled cheese.
He was not happy with me.

But look at that perfection.

He was quite annoyed with my documenting.

Thursday we colored eggs.
Again, no Will.

We finished Thursday by participating in a birthday parade for our friend, Annabelle Dugan.

We wrapped up the week with haircuts for the boys.
