Hangin' Out

Ben has a new hang out spot.
He likes to empty this tray and sit in it.

Most of the time he brings along a book....

or two...or three

Doesn't everyone read like this?

The Great Pumpkin

We ended our day at Rhodes Farm on a quest to find the perfect pumpkin.
It was a success!

Tickle Time

The maze was also good for a little tickling and lots of giggling.

More Farm Fun

Playing in corn...FUN!
Finding corn in the van, shoes, clothes, and dryer vent....more FUN!

A Boy Thing

Must be a boy thing because Ben enjoyed climbing and playing the straw bales too.

Farm Fun

There was a fairly large setup of stacked up straw bales to climb and play on.
Will had the most fun there.

He did take time out to hang with Ben in the tire swing.

Come Lord Jesus...

Be our guest
And let these gifts to us be blessed
Amen.

Ben prays!
Ben started this on his own.
We sat down to eat dinner sometime last month and Ben immediately folded his hands and looked at us and smiled.
He has always been all smiles while we prayed but has never taken the initiative to pray with us.
Now he folds his little chubby hands and "prays" along with us.
His prayer is gibberish, but he does say a word that sounds a lot like Jesus! Zizuss, is his word.
Sometimes we have to break into a second or third prayer to make the little guy happy.

Ben & Mya

While we celebrated Meme's birthday, Ben and Mya checked each other out.

I'm not sure what either one is thinking here, but I'd venture to guess Mya is wondering what is going on with Ben's crazy hair!

Meme is 90!

I can hardly believe it, but it's true...Meme is 90!
Aside from the facts that she is mostly blind as a result of macular degeneration and that she uses oxygen, she is doing wonderfully.
On Oct. 8th, we all got together to help her celebrate her actual day of birth.
We had lunch and cake.

Bradley, Abbie, and Meme.
The only 2 great-grandkids who would willingly pose for the picture.

And because I have so few pictures of my two grandmas....here you go!
Meme and Grandma Betsy.
