How Time Flies...

It seems like just yesterday that we welcomed this precious baby into our family.

Far too quickly we were celebrating his first birthday.

A few blinks and he was 2!

And now? Well, my little cuddly man is 3!
Where does the time go?!?!

Nearly a week late, I share with you my middle baby's birthday.

Except he really isn't a baby anymore!

Oh, Booter. My cuddly man.
These 3 years have been amazing....fast, but amazing!
Even though you've been testing me with the terrible 2's, or 3's now, I can still find plenty to love about you.
What do I love?
I love your smile. The way you say "momma." Your fat Fred Flinstone feet, though they are slimming down as they grow longer. The way your skin still feels as soft as the day you were born. Your cute chubby cheeks. Your sense of humor--You can be such a little stinker, and then make the cutest, funniest face or say the most perfect thing to ease the tension. How you lay next to me in bed and rub my arms and back. When you read my mind, and say "I love you too momma" right before I voice the very words I was about to say. You're the perfect middle child--adoring your older sister, loving and nurturing to Ben...okay, well you are starting to wrestle Ben. In your defense, though, he seems to enjoy it. You even let him smack on you and pull your hair. I love that you are going to have such special friendships with both your sister and brother. I love the way our hands fit together. Especially in the morning when daddy gets up and you join me in bed. You look at me with tired little eyes, settle in on daddy's pillow, give me a cute little smile (you aren't normally allowed to sleep in our bed), whisper "Momma," grab my hand, and off to dreamland you go. One day you'll probably be embarrassed to hold my hand. I'm sure you'll even turn away from me a time or two. But you will always be my special little cuddly man...Always my baby! I love you so much! Happy 3rd Birthday Booty!

Awwww...what a little sweetie!! And I hadn't realized how much he'd grown up over the past year until I looked at these pics....he's looking much more little boy and less baby.
