Our Easter Festivities started on Friday afternoon. Nona came over to help us color eggs. Will was only interested in splashing in the colors, and later mixing all the colors. Fun! Abbie had more fun, but hated the smell of the vinegar.
We spent Saturday with my dad's side of the family. We had a late lunch, and the kids hunted Easter Eggs. We then headed to Papaw & Memaw's to spend the night. The Easter Bunny hid eggs there as well, and left Abbie & Will a basket of goodies. I think their favorite part of finding these eggs was the money inside. They each got $8, and Abbie was excited. She decided she wanted to use her money to buy a Happy Meal. The next morning at Church she gave a dollar in the Offering without any prompting from us. Too cute!
Sunday morning we headed back to BH for Church. Then off to Nono and Nona's for lunch, another egg hunt, and basket finding. Phew! A lot of running! Needless to say Abbie & Will were absolutely spoiled and had a great time!!
